everyone grinds leetcode but no one practices the actual interview conversation

i've been watching candidates nail the coding portion then fall apart when asked 'walk me through your approach' or 'tell me about a time you disagreed with a teammate.'

here's what i kept seeing: people spend 100+ hours on leetcode, system design docs, reading cracking the coding interview. then they get into the actual room and freeze when the conversation starts. not because they don't know the answer — because they've never practiced saying it out loud under pressure.

the technical stuff is necessary. but the format of an interview is its own skill. how you structure an answer to 'why do you want this role?' how you recover when you don't know something. how you talk through your resume without rambling. that's a different muscle.
